Doll Prams There are Many To Choose From...

Doll prams have always been a popular toy for children. Their enduring quality is down to their role play attributes that forms such a big part of pre-school children's play activity. As real prams have evolved through the past two hundred years or so, so doll prams have followed suit. From the classic Silver Crosses models of the late 19th century with their bulky frames, large box bodies and ornate decoration through to lightweight 'jogger' systems that transform from a flat bed pram, to a buggy, to a car seat so doll prams have followed this trend. The range of dolls prams on the market is huge and as fashions change from one year to the next so the manufacturers of dolls prams will clamour to produce a model to follow the trend. The price of the doll prams varies enourmously, as does the quality. Lower end prams will tend to be made out of cheaper production materials such as plastic and cheap printed vinyls. Whilst the higher end buggies and prams will be made of more substantial and costly materials such as wood and metal. Each doll stroller has it's price point and will vary in price tremendously. You will tend to get what you pay for though, with a more expensive pram holding a higher desirability level and possibly commanding a substantial re-sell price once the toy has been outgrown. Whist cheaper doll prams and buggies being more throw away. From classic Silver Cross (who still manufacture) to  basic folding buggies every type has been miniturised and made desirable to help children care for their dolls and dollies.
